The digital online space connects millions of people across diverse cultures. To maintain constructive, polite, and safe digital discourse, internet users must follow essential digital manners known as Netiquettes, and understand public publishing platforms called Blogs.
1. What is a Blog? (ब्लॉग क्या है?)
The word Blog is a shortened combination of Weblog (Web + Log).
A Blog is a regularly updated personal or educational website run by an individual or a small team, written in an informal, conversational style where new articles (called Blog Posts) appear in Reverse Chronological Order (the newest post appears first at the top!).
Blogger (ब्लॉगर): The person who writes and publishes blog posts.
Blogging (ब्लॉगिंग): The activity of maintaining and writing a blog.
Vlog (Video Blog): A blog where the primary medium is video (popular on YouTube).
Popular Free Blogging Platforms: WordPress, Google Blogger (blogspot.com), Medium.
2. What are Netiquettes? (नेटीकेट्स - इंटरनेट शिष्टाचार)
Netiquette is a portmanteau of Network + Etiquette (नेटवर्क + शिष्टाचार). It refers to the informal code of good manners, respect, and professional conduct that individuals must observe when communicating over the internet.
Golden Rules of Netiquette:

In digital communications, TYPING IN ALL CAPS IS CONSIDERED THE EQUIVALENT OF SHOUTING OR YELLING (चीखना/चिल्लाना) at someone! Always use normal sentence casing.

Respect Other People's Privacy: Never forward someone's private email, photos, or mobile numbers to public groups without their explicit permission.

Do Not Spread Unverified Rumors (Fake News): Never forward sensational WhatsApp forwards without verifying facts from official government sources (PIB Fact Check).

Be Polite and Professional: Avoid harsh abusive language, cyberbullying, or "flaming" (starting angry flame wars in comment sections).

Respect People's Time and Bandwidth: Do not spam groups with 50 morning stickers, good morning greeting GIFs, or massive video files.
