Downloading and Printing Web Pages (वेब पेज डाउनलोड और प्रिंट करना)
When you discover an important government circular, admit card, or study material online, you often need to preserve an offline copy on your computer or print a paper version for exam center verification.
1. Downloading Files from the Web (डाउनलोडिंग)
Downloading (डाउनलोडिंग): The process of copying or receiving a file (PDF, song, software, image) from a remote Internet web server to your local computer or phone.
Uploading (अपलोडिंग): The reverse process—transmitting a file (such as your photo or signature for an exam application) from your local computer to a remote Internet server.
How to Download a File or Document:

Click the provided download link or button on the webpage.

In Google Chrome or Edge, downloads appear at the bottom or in the top-right Downloads toolbar (Ctrl + J).

By default, Windows saves all internet downloads into the C:\Users\<Username>\Downloads folder.
Saving an Entire Webpage for Offline Reading:
Press Ctrl + S while on the webpage.
In the Save dialog, choose:
Webpage, Complete: Saves the HTML page along with a folder containing all images and styles.
Single File (MHTML): Bundles everything into a single offline document.
2. Printing Webpages and "Save as PDF"
When printing official application forms (like UPSSSC or CCC registration slips):

Press Ctrl + P on the webpage.

The browser Print preview screen will appear.

Under Destination (गंतव्य), you have two choices:
Select Physical Printer: Sends the page directly to your connected HP/Canon printer.
Save as PDF (पीडीएफ के रूप में सेव करें): Converts the webpage into a digital .pdf file without consuming paper!

Print Options:
Pages: Print All, or choose specific page numbers (e.g. 1-2).
Layout: Portrait vs Landscape.
More Settings $\implies$ "Background graphics": Check this box if colorful table headers or government logos are missing in the preview!
