Detailed Text Formatting Properties
Beyond presets, you can customize every individual property under Shape Format > Text Effects:
1. Text Fill & Outline
Text Fill: Fill letters with Solid Colors, subtle multi-stop linear gradients, or even import a picture texture mapped directly into the letter contours.
Text Outline: Add crisp borders around text characters. Customize line weight (e.g., 1 pt or 2 pt) and dash styles.
2. Shadow
Adds realistic depth separating text from busy photo backgrounds:
Presets: Outer shadow, Inner shadow, or Perspective floor shadow.
Color & Blur: Soft blur values (8 pt to 15 pt) create natural modern drop shadows; hard zero-blur creates retro pop-art shadows.
Distance: Offsets the shadow from the text baseline.
3. Reflection
Creates a glossy mirror reflection beneath the baseline, frequently seen in technology launch presentations:
Choose from Tight, Half, or Full reflection variations.
4. Glow

Follow Path: Arch Up, Arch Down, Circle, Button.
Warp: Wave, Inflate, Deflate, Slant.

Best Practice: Contrast over Clutter
Subtle Depth: A soft, transparent shadow (Black, 70% transparency, 10 pt blur) makes titles legible over variable photographic backgrounds without appearing cluttered.
Avoid Stacking Effects: Do not combine 3D bevel + intense glow + heavy reflection + rainbow gradient + curved path all on the same word. Simplicity communicates confidence.
