🗄️ JDBC Architecture, Drivers, and DriverManager Connection

Introduction

Java Database Connectivity (JDBC) is the standard Java API for connecting and executing queries against relational database management systems (RDBMS) such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle, and SQL Server.

🚗 Driver Types (Focus on Type 4 Pure Java Driver)

Modern industry projects use Type 4 Drivers (Direct-to-Database Pure Java Driver). They convert JDBC calls directly into vendor-specific database network protocols without requiring native C-libraries or intermediate middleware.
